I believe painting’s freedom to inhabit in different forms. By making paintings into clothes, into large sculptural installations, I play with their relation to the body，and how we can experience paintings imaginatively.

    Theatre is a place producing illusions, bedroom is where dreams land.

    For this residency, I wonder how ballet becomes part of Birmingham, and how we can dissolve the static spatial relation between the show and the beholder.

    Playing with the space between witness and participator. My painting is both the backdrop of the suite, but also performance itself. Intimacy and spectacle dance together here, in one act.
